Gardiner Investments is a private family partnership focused on long-term capital stewardship.
The firm was established to preserve and grow family capital and to support the family’s investment and philanthropic activities.
 

We invest globally across public and private markets, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and direct investments in operating businesses. Our portfolio includes both early- and later-stage companies, and we selectively provide seed capital to emerging managers.
 

Our approach is opportunistic and flexible. We seek attractive investments across asset classes and geographies and prioritize long-term relationships with experienced managers and high-quality businesses.
 

Members of the Gardiner family have been engaged in commerce and finance in the United States across multiple generations. Earlier family enterprises included participation in the pharmaceutical trade in the eighteenth century, involvement in the Maine ice trade during the nineteenth century, and the creation of a leading bank and trust company in the early twentieth century. While these activities are not related to the present firm, they reflect a longstanding tradition of private enterprise, capital formation, and long-term thinking.
